My intention all along has been that the syntactic labels that attach to phrases in this HW assignment are considered joint labels for both the source and target sides, even though they come from just the target (English) side. The label goes with the phrase-pair instance of the sentence-pair from which it was extracted. This can be viewed as projecting the syntactic label from the English side to the source side. This applies to all the questions asked in HW5. - Alon |
