This is the current Mneme tree, as of 3/7/90.

Directories are as follows:

doc:		TeX dvi and postscript versions of the latest users
		guide to the Mneme client interface.

mneme:		The Mneme sources.

server:		The server sources.

examples:	Two example programs, that implement very simple persistent
		tree traversal, one using the call interface and the other
		using the direct pointer interface.  These examples are
		discussed in the appendix of the users guide.

To build and install Mneme on your machine you will first have to be root, so
you can install the Mneme library and include files. Edit the Makefile
in this directory to give you the options you want, and then just type
	make install
at the command line prompt.
