I have a question about the questionmark: you know, that-> ?

Could someone enlighten me as to its origin/history? References would be
highly welcome. I've looked through our library but found virtually nothing
about the origin/history of it. Punctuation (stop, comma, and things) is as
far as anybody seems to go outside the alphabet, when discussing graphemes.

Any help appreciated (email preferred).

With regards, Jouni Maho
