I'm trying to define how confusing two words are in reading and I 
wish to have some pointers to the area.  I'm interested mainly in 
the phonetic similarity of two words, i.e. how to define how similar
two words are and express it as a degree say from 0 to 1.



Any help is very much appreciated.
