I think so.

Some riists prefer: patro, patroj, patri^co, patrino.

1. As an intellectual exercise
2. Because I think it is possible to create a lang which is easier than
E-o for those who know a Romance lang, and no more difficult than E-o
for those who do not.

Shouldn't that have been "multoj"?

AFAIK most attempts to create an international lang have been been
based on European languages.

Romance langs (here I include English as it has a large Romance
vocabulary) are widely spoken all over the world, so any international
lang with Romance roots is likely to be as good as using any other roots.

Also there is little point in learning an artificila language (in order
to communicate) unless lots of other people learn it too. Since language
problems are intense in Europe (because it is (becoming) a single economic
system with many languages), Europe is the place most likely to adopt a
common 2nd language. When this happen the rest of the world might well
adopt it too because (1) the EU is richer than anyone else, (2) an
artificial lang is likely to be much easier to learn than a natural lang,
because it will be more regular and have less vocabulary.

Since Esperanto is already regualr, it would be impossible to be much
more regualar.

Eurolang is designed to be easy for western Europeans, and uses similar
grammar to English, French, German, Italian, Spanish.

No-one currently speaks Eurolang, since I am still creating it.

Half the population of Finland speak Esperanto? *Really*?

Thank you.
