No, it's because there is a much better one already out there: English.
(By better I mean more useful, because many more people use it.)

And this simply is a lie.  You might wish that it was true, but in
reality it isn't.

BTW, why did the Esperanto League N America write this article in
English and not in Esperanto?  Afraid that nobody would be able to
understand it?  Hehehe...!
