Ken, Thanks for the info.

What I am specifically interested in is finding out the best of
the two voice dictation systems for the legal area one offered by
IBM and the other by KOLVOX Communications Inc of Toronto. Both
systems retail for about $1000-1500. The IBM system I have access
to, the KOLVOX system sold under the brand LawTALK I am informed
is superior but I would like to hear from users. I have a call
in to KOLVOX to set up a demo for me but feel any demo will calculated
to be positive.

At the recent meeting "Technolgy for Lawyers" held in Toronto on
April 21/22 I understand that IBM and KOLVOX participated in a
"Software Face-Off". It would be most appreciated if anyone who
attended this event could post their comments here.

KOLVOX has not "gone away" it has apparently recently signed deals
with:

    Phoenix Technologies
    Westlaw
    Kurzweil

and is participating in speech recognition API committees separately
announced by MICROSOFT Corp. and WORDPERFECT Corp.

Any further comments appreciated.
