I am posting the following desparate plea for information for a friend
who's searched far and wide but still can't find anything of use!

If anyone can help her out, please reply by email to K.S.Hone@bham.ac.uk

I am interested in hearing from anyone actively involved in the
design of dialogues for speech interactive systems. I am particularly
interested to know what methods are being used for dialogue design,
for example how the phrasing of computer prompts is decided, how the
positioning and type of feedback and error correction used is
determined, and how an interaction style (eg menu/question-answer
etc) is decided upon. Even if some aspects are decided on a purely
intuitive basis I would be interested to hear about it.
Thanks very much for your help.
