I have the Infovox unit here and use it as part of my home control
system. I use the British English version so can not comment on the
French version. You can however have both version fitted and switch
between them.
The quality is very good and everyone who has heard it can understand 
it perfectly. The price is kind of high, but not as high as other
quality synths on the market. One advantage is it is serial and
portable.
