Just recently Argiris Kranidiotis produced a very good document
on human audio perception. It was posted to comp.speech and is
available from the comp.speech ftp site. From the FAQ posting....

Package: Human Audio Perception Document
Description: Document prepared by Argiris Kranidiotis on the human
audio perception system. It lists a number of references,
gives plenty of numbers and some equations.
Availability: by anonymous ftp from the comp.speech archive site
	svr-ftp.eng.cam.ac.uk:/comp.speech/info/HumanAudioPerception
