I have just started a PhD in the area of 'Speech Recognition' and am
presently doing some background reading. Can anyone tell me of any
good review papers i could read and maybe tell me about the latest
developments in 'Speech Recognition' since with the reading i have
done already i have become very confused because there seem to be so
many different types of approach to pre-processing and characterization
for example.
                         Yours sincerely
