I need a robust Commercial Speech Recognition system for quick and
easy prototyping, and can also be used for professional applications?
The system I am looking for should have the following features,

        - Speaker Independence
        - Continuous Speech
        - Large Vocabulary
        - Should not have proprietary hardware requirements

For quick prototyping purposes, it should also have tools to work
with
        - Visual Basic or Visual C++

I have been looking at the systems available, but most require proprietary
hardware. In addition, none provide tools for fast and easy development.
Any input would be very much appreciated.
