Monologue is fine if you want a program that speaks highlighted text (last
version that I saw was summer last year). If you want something more
interactive in windows, you will have to write it yourself at the moment. The
blind community has been looking for an interactive windows environment for
some time. There is Windows Bridge, but from all accounts this is pretty slow,
though I have not seen it myself.
