I recently came across an article in ICASSP (Jan 1991) titled Super Resolution
Pitch Determination of Speech Signals by Y. Medan, E. Yair, and D. Chazan. Has
anyone out there used this method and have any comments on its applicability to
musical event decomposition as well as speech. Essentially I read that this
method exploits the cross-correlation of adjacent autocorrelation frames on the
speech signal.
