I would like to use the monologue .dll for 'real world programming', but
have sofar not succeeded. I purchased the software along with the Maestro 16 VR
soundcard and the documentation seems to be a bit superficial on the .dll interface
- to say the least! It says that I should have a speech.dll file - instead I have
three different files: fb_spch.dll, fb_timer.dll and fb_22k16.dll - the interfaces
to which are not documented anywhere. Furthermore, the functions mentioned in the
documentation seem not to be implemented with the specified interface in any of
these three files.

To Ed Clark -- have you got better documentation and if so, where can I get it? I asked
the technical support dept. for the Maestro soundcard and they said they might be
able to find something (sic!)

To others -- Same questions as asked by Ed Clark.

Thanks.
