Hi all...

I would like to add simple speech recognition to a pc based
application written in turbo/borland pascal. A few questions...

Do all of the PC sound boards support recognition ??

Which is the *best* one for recognition ?

Any PD software interfaces ??

Any commercial interfaces ??

Vocabulary size (the last I saw was 256 words - 3 years ago!)

Speaker independence, how good ?

I need to implement this over the next two-three months, so I
have to use the best option available today (cost is a factor,
but not a big one (of course, I'm not stinking rich)).

Any comments or suggestions will be greatly apprec.

Use the email address below or post.

Thanks

Frank
