Hi,

I am looking for information on work done with the TIMIT speech database.
My special interest is in automatic phonetic transcription and speech
recognition. If you have used TIMIT in that respect, if you know of any
drawbacks, problems and hints for using it in training a transcription
machine, and -most of all- if you have references on these topics, pleas
*mail* them to me. I'll summarize the results to the list.

Regards,

Hans Kuehnel	(Hans.Kuehnel@physik.uni-muenchen.de, +49-89-2394-4564)
