I've been told that Stan Goldstein has stopped organizing
the Speech Tech conferences, and - since there's no longer
a New York city listing for Media Dimensions - he's probably
closed up the Speech Technology magazine. Unfortunately,
this is not the sort of magazine many libraries carried.
However, many people reading this newsgroup have comprehensive
collections of Speech Technology magazine.

But, yes, the FAQ should be updated to reflect this fact.
