If you own a DSP56001-based Ariel PC-56D board, you can obtain real-time 4800bps
CELP synthesis AND analysis demonstration software at no charge by contacting:

           Analogical Systems Tel: (415) 323-3232
           2916 Ramona Street FAX: (415) 323-4222
Palo Alto, California 94306 Internet: cole@analogical.com

In your request, please include the following information:

1) The serial number of your PC-56D board (for our record keeping purposes)
2) Whether you prefer 3.5" or 5.25" floppy disks

The CELP demonstration software allows you to record and playback both CELP
and PCM speech files to and from the hard disk.

If you don't already own a PC-56D board, you may purchase one from Ariel
Corporation (908-249-2900) for $895. Be sure to mention that you were
referred by Analogical Systems. Alternatively, you may purchase a complete
CELP demonstration system from Analogical Systems for only $995.

The CELP demonstration system includes everything you need (except the PC!)
to allow you to assess the subjective speech quality of 4800bps CELP speech
compression and determine whether it will be suitable for your application.
For only $995, the CELP demonstration system includes the following:

. Ariel PC-56D (27.6MHz DSP56001) board for the IBM AT and compatibles
. BOTH Microsoft Windows 3.1 and MS-DOS versions of demonstration software for
real-time CELP and PCM record/playback to/from the hard disk
. Other utilities and example programs for the PC-56D
 . Dynamic microphone
 . Amplified speaker (batteries included!)

Source code and object code packages for a real-time, full-duplex CELP
vocoder based upon the Motorola DSP56001 are available for a one-time
license fee (no royalties or other costs involved). Analogical Systems has
also developed real-time software for other speech compression and
telecommunications applications for the Motorola, Texas Instruments, and
Analog Devices families of digital signal processors. Source code and
object code licenses for all algorithms are available for a one-time fee.
