Hello, I am currently working on a Chinese Text-To-Speech system.
It is using a very simple dictionnary from cxterm's input methods
to translate from GB-to-TonePinyin (the romanized spelling).
After that it will proceed to cut the tone pinyin into pieces which
are found from a big database of spoken syllables which I am currently
composing. What kind of information you need? I have been doing this
thing for half a year already. As far as I know there is nothing
like this done before...
