I think we have been had. Going through the klatt.c file, if you
look for the 'p' key press handling code, you'll find a call
to hplay. Then look into the hplay.c file. All that's in there
is a printf statement. The comments at the top of the file said 
it is a dummy file.

Saving the file in klatt didn't work either. It produces four
files, out of which *.au file seems to be the only plausible
one. The normal play (which plays sound) claims it isn't a valid
sun audio file.
