The AT&T DSP3210 and DSP3207 support G.728
(LD-CELP) under the VCOS operating system.
One DSP, however, cannot do full duplex
since the G.728 encode consumes a large
percentage of one chip. So what is typically
done is two chips are used: one performs the
G.728 encode while the other performs
G.728 decode and Acoustic Echo Cancellation
(AEC) for a full duplex speakerphone.
