Maybe it's not only me who doesn't have a viewer for this format.
I found (with a look at Alex' homepage)

   The Khoros Page
   http://www.khoros.unm.edu/khoros/home.html

but I dont have the time (and disk space) to compile the Khoros
packages. So ...

Does anybody have a ready to use viewer for the VIFF (animation?)
format for a Sparc workstation running Solaris 2.4?
