Hello, I'm a student of Computer Science at the University of
Genova (Italy).

As a home-work for an examination, I must write a survey about
any work done on (Self-)Localization and Orientation of mobile
robots moving in any kind of environment (completely known,
partially known, unknown). In particular, I'm interested to
works exploiting A.I. methodologies.

So far, I have not been able to find any reference on the
subject. Does anyone out there have good pointers/references?

Please reply to my e-mail address: marco@mrg.dist.unige.it
I'll post a survey of the received answers.

Thanks in advance,
Marco Roveri
