   Thanks but 32megs of ram should be enough! I stopped the installation of
the add on tools ('C' support, DataBase, SOMobjects, trailblazer, and
examples) after 20 hours and then reinstalled each tool one at a time. 

   It seems the VA did such-up all of my resources and was pagin to death.
When I selected each option individually they installed fine. I guess I am
saying that VA has a bug when selecting all of the options to install at
once. Anyway, it still took me around a hour to install 'C' support,
trailblazer, and the examples. these probably should be installed in the
initial image.
