I am using IBM Team Smalltalk version 2.0 for windows, running on a
compaq desktop xl 486 with 24 meg memory. Also, I am using a swiss german
keyboard.  (blechh.... I know)

I am unable to type Alt Graphic characters into transcript windows and or
browsers. This means,the following character are not available to me
(other than using a cut and paste method from a text editor):
\  @ #  |   (tilda) [ ] { }

This is extremely serious, since as any smalltalker knows, [] and | are
pretty darn important.

Does anyone know how to fix this, or how to set it up correctly. Please
respond directly to me via my email address:
stephen.strebel@zhflur.ch.ubs.ch or it thats not possible simply respond
to this posting.

thanks for any help.
