People typically measure stupid things, both inadvertently or on
purpose. This person has indicated he's going to measure something
without indicating what that might be, and that the results will be
used to publish broad concluions. The only hint we've been given
is that he does not understand enough about the objects to be
measured to be able to create them himself. Combined with his
reluctance to respond to any of the questions raised, the whole
project doesn't excite most people into wanting to participate.
