Another poster suggested that comp.ai can fulfill a useful purpose for  
general postings (rational or otherwise).  The original intent for  
proposing comp.ai.research was to narrow the focus to research issues in  
ai.  Why not a moderated comp.ai.research?  A moderator for comp.ai would  
have a heavy burden to carry.
