Hi,
I am trying to build an application that requires a client/server
architecture. The clients are PC's and Mac's. I was originally looking at a
RDBMS with the expert system shell EXSYS. However I think an Object Database
may be a better choice for my application.
After talking to several ODBMS vendors I found that the client front
end prefers talking to Smalltalk or C++. I would like to know if there are any
expert systems shells that are either written in Smalltalk or provide a easy
interface to Smalltalk or Visual Works.
Also, has anyone had any experience with EXSYS. Any comments would be
appreciated.

Thanks,

Bipin Shah
