Hello all:

Regarding the the feasibility of building a competent, Turing-test proof
computer system a la HAL: can anyone suggest references where the
argument is made that such a system cannot be built? I'm compiling a
survey and I'd appreciate any help in the matter.

Also of help would be suggestions about interface NLP systems that
attempt to pass the Turing test by faking it (using template rules
and manipulating syntax).

Thanks,

A. Bouzid
