Given that the sense expressed by the name `7' must of necessity comprehend
the universal quantification over a non-denumerably infinite set (cf. the
Induction Axiom), reference fixing must be quite mysterious indeed.  Not
that this is a good reason to abandon all efforts of understanding it.
