I'm toying with this idea : suppose to have a set of recombination
operators
each applied to members of the population with initial probability p(i)
and to adaptively modify these probabilities accordingly to their
performance
in generating fit individuals during the run...
...BUT I'm sure someone already did it and analyzed its performance.

Any pointers to literature on a similar approach and his performance
related to
"traditional" approaches will be more than welcome

Ivan
