Hello,

I recently talked with the president of a company whose main business is
the application of neural network technology to various
areas like controls and image processing. He told me that Dr. Werbos
was the "inventor" of backprop - I had always thought that Dr. Rumelhart
and possibly Dr. Widrow were the authors/creators. Can anybody clear
this up for me?
