Does anyone know of work being done in the areas of fuzzy obstacle avoidance.
We have a fuzzy path planning navigation system working effectively (using
a form of cell mapping) that generates potential fields and we intend to add
a o/a algorithm. The concept at the moment is a form of sensor based
navigation around the obstacle using a local modification to the potential
field.

I was wondering if anyone has done anything similar? (or in fact dissimilar!
were curious about other approaches too!)

	thanks

	Graeme
