Very well, the population evolved, defecting at first, but then moving
towards cooperation and an average score of 3.  That was within the
population itself.  But I also played each generations strategies in a
exibition against standard strategies sucha as ALLD, ALLC, TFT, ATFT, etc
and they still did well...but not as well as if it evolved specificallyainst
any one of the strategies.

I liked the way that the round-robin compitition method evolved very
complete stategies.  I also tried a tournament competition but it did not
have much success.  It was a part of a thesis that I never went through
with.  Nobody here at the university knew what I was doing!  It was
frustrating having to explain GAs from the ground up every time I spoke to a
committee member ;-)

But anyway, the GA I wrote turned out really neat or the PD!
