Hi folks,

I hope this is the right newsgroup for these questions, if not perhaps
someone can put me right.

What is the current state of development of XScheme, in particular is
there a version running under Windows 3.1? I'd like to experiment with
Scheme as a prototyping environment, using it a glue to hold together
various C library calls (under Windows at the moment, but maybe other
platforms later). If anyone out there has done this kind of stuff with
XScheme or SIOD or something similar, I'd really like to here from you.
I'm a Scheme newcomer, but it looks good to me, if I can just get my
head around these parentheses.

Many thanks in advance
