   I remember, several months ago we had a lengthy discussion of the
IPD and evolutionary techniques for developing more complex
algorithms (and simpler ones) to conquer the tit-for-tat system.  As
I recall, a second round of competition ensued in which the winner
beat tit-for-tat by an opening /defection/, putting a hole in the
'altruism uber alles' camp.
   Does anyone have records or information concerning the second
algorithm, including references?

   [Still waiting to hear if there is a Koza-esque GP system
runnable under GCL 1.0.]
