                        TLPLAN V2.0
A planning sytem that uses temporal logic formulas to control search
======================================================================

The system is written in Common Lisp, and has been tested with Allegro
4.2 Common Lisp. It allows the user to define planning domains using
either STRIPS or ADL operators, and to write control formulas in a
first-order version of linear temporal logic (LTL).

The system can be used for research or teaching purposes. To
facilitate its use a considerable amount of effort has been put into
both a clean implementation and complete documentation.

A technical report describing the approach is available via
ftp://logos.uwaterloo.ca/pub/tlplan/tlplan.ps.Z

The user manual for the software is available via
ftp://logos.uwaterloo.ca/pub/tlplan/tlplan-manual.ps.Z

A tar-file with the software and the aforementioned documents is
available via
ftp://logos.uwaterloo.ca/pub/tlplan/tlplan.tar.pz.Z

Finally, the WWW home page for the project is (from which all
documents can be accessed)

IF YOU RETRIEVE THE SOFTWARE, PLEASE SEND MAIL TO
    tlplan@logos.uwaterloo.ca
WITH YOUR NAME AND AFFILIATION. This will allow us have some idea of
the range of users.
