This is the case for all scientific induction. For example, relativity
in physics fits the facts very well and also made some now verified
prediction, however new discoveries may overturn it as they did Newton.

This means it is possible to disprove UG if counterevidence is found,
but you can't prove it (deductively) from any amount of evidence.
