Good. We only have american references, fine! I was afraid to see some
european work there ;-) To be serious, how can you say that the
reference is a work not yet published? 

Beside, there is nothing unfair here. The poster did not give credit to
Prosser or Smith. He cited a paper that had an interesting theory,
that's all.

This said, I agree that the IJCAI 91 paper by Cheeseman et al is
a reasonable starting point for the study of phase transition.
