That was beautiful, but I'm confused.  Who hasn't thought they knew it
all, only to shudder at their arrogance later?  (I wanted to use the
word hubris instead for some reason, but I think it carries the wrong
connotation.)

Perhaps, "He who knows and knows there is more is a wise man."?

I know, it doesn't flow. ;)  Perhaps we need to make the distinction
between definate knowledge and the *assumption* of knowledge here.
