Well, there are certainly a lot of people who have posted that haven't
answered. I'd consider posting a pretty good indication of
interest. Here's another data point. I haven't bothered responding,
even though I read this newsgroup very regularly. The company I work
for does Smalltalk exclusively. A lot of the people here read the
newsgroup regularly. I think Dave Buck is the only one who's
responded.

I also know that there are companies like OTI which receive the
and read the newsgroup but very rarely post or respond.

You can define there to be 128 "regulars", whatever that means, but it
seems to me to be just a number made up out of the air for a term
without a clear definition.
