My impression is that what ParcPlace intends to provide in VW
is a window frame that looks and feels like Windozz, and 
simple controls that have the Windozz look and feel, but
did not intend to support extended look/feel issues, such
as MDI.

Of course, I'll let one of the gurus at ParcPlace speak for
themselves.
