Hi all.

Just got word from Mark Tilden (Host of the BEAM '95 games in Santa Fe)
that the games scheduled for May 4-7 are in jeopardy!

The Gov't Admininstrators footing the bill are uneasy about the lack of
preregistration, and are threatening to pull the plug if more confirmed
entries aren't in by tomorrow (Wednesday the 25). They're planning to
make their decision around noon, so IF YOU'RE PLANNING TO ATTEND OR
COMPETE, email the following address to say you're going to be there.

pargo@lanl.gov (or)
robot@lanl.gov (or)
mwtilden@lanl.gov

If it does get cancelled, Mark Tilden is arranging to hold a large
workshop in leau of the games, so nobody's plane fare will be wasted.

TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!

<sigh> - doesn't everybody know that the most entries happen the morning
of the event?!?

-Dave
