Another announcement..

I have uploaded further shape changing robot PC animations it can be found
at ftp.demon.co.uk in directory /pub/ibmpc/graphics/pm with file name pm3.zip.

The file consists of three animation:-

1. The first animation shows a shape changing (fractal) robot dividing into
two robots with one section crawling away. Normal robots are unable to
even remotely approach solutions using this kind of fractal technology.

2. The crawling section is animated in a desert scene - effectively giving
you a picture of a *true* multi-terrain vehicle in action.
Not so long ago the US army had spent 6 million dollars on a walking
machine. This robot, unlike the US army robot would not fail in such
environments - and can be manufactured at far less cost.
The same robot can be used in nuclear applications when disaster strikes
or sent down volcanoes as NASA did but without failing under such extreme
conditions because of their self repair properties.

3. The terrifying prospect of a dazzling new array of weapons as application
for this technology is illustrated in the third animation.
The robot shown here is the Model T100 the precursor
to the Model T1000 as seen in Terminator 2 :-). Seriously folks,
the animation shows a self repairing walking robot (walking is animated
in the previously uploaded file pm2.zip) that has its leg and part of
its face shot off only for it to repair itself in a matter of seconds. The
speed of operation shown are typical of *slow* machines in such applications
(true mil spec machines would be several times faster). The robotic
cubes can attach any kind of weapon and integrate it into its
armoury with terrifying ease. Further, it can switch in new modules
as existing modules become damaged or depleted. The shape changing robot
mixes large and small robotic cubes allowing them to reach into anywhere.
They are exceptionally strong and capable of lifting tanks if they had to.
(A tank lifting animation is shown in pm2.zip file.) Even when lifting
heavy weights, they do not slip which means that you could
turn the electricity off during a manouvre without the shape
changing robot falling to pieces or dropping their load. The strength of
these robots pose a serious problem in that even if they are unarmed,
they are still ultra deadly when used as weapons.

Keep watching this thread for more info folks... :-)
