      Oh, the Penman.  That was a cute idea.  The Penman was an attempt
to make a large format plotter that wasn't a large machine.  It's a
little wheeled vehicle which runs around and draws.  It has a "dock",
and it frequently returns to its "dock" for an alignment check, so
cumulative error doesn't become a problem.

      AutoCAD used to support the thing, so Autodesk had one in the
Q/A department (where they had one of every supported peripheral),
but that was years ago.  Try GO AUTOCAD on Compu$erv; someone
might still have a driver for it.

      But the Penman was a lousy plotter.
