If you have the front ends for the world wide web, connect to
www.csh.rit.edu .  They have one that does have x support if i
remember correctly.

How they operate is different for each one...the one at CSH was a
robot (the mainframe controlled it) but I think it is now a self
contained computer off of the mainframe...which could still be
classified a robot.
