The Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of
Washington is looking for a robot base. We would like it to have the
drive and charging systems and some form of wheel encoding built in.
The batteries should last about 2 or 3 hours between charges.

We will need it to be able to carry about 10 Kg (22 LBs) of additional stuff,
and it should have some sort of bump skirt and some easy way of mounting
mechanical protection for our added stuff. Ideally it should also have
perimeter detection (IR, whiskers, etc.) built in.

We are looking for something in the $2000.00 price range.

You can reply either directly to me or to this newsgroup.

Thanks!

Ken.
