I'm looking for a simple DAC to interface to a 68HC11 board.
Any chip recommendations, ideas, articles, etc are welcomed. I've used
a DAC08 but I'm hoping to find a chip that ouputs voltage directly
and doesn't need an external op amp. I've seen some MAXIM parts that
would work but I don't have a source for them in small quantity.

   Ideal requirements

   8 bit digital in
   0 - 5 volt out (single channel)
fast enough for good audio 16k/sec
   single +5v supply

Please e-mail direct and I will post a summary.

Thanks,
