Price, availability, and architecture sucks.  It is an accumulator based
processor, not much different than the generic processors you design in
introductory computer architecture class.  However, its rich set of
on-chip peripherals and low-power is attractive, but its low performance
is just too sorry to do anything fancy.  There's a second generation,
however.
